Beat the heat with this delicious, low calorie treat! Yes, something as simple as bananas can make up some mouthwatering summer dessert. This yummy ice cream has about 108 calories and fat as low as 2-3 grams per serving. Now you can fulfill your sweet cravings without feeling guilty.

Ingredients :

- 3 frozen bananas sliced (they should be ripe).
- 3 tsp vanilla extract

Method :

Freeze the bananas overnight or if in a hurry at least 4-5 hours. Slice the bananas and put them in a blender. Blend, blend, blend for around 2 minutes. Scrape the bananas using a spatula from time to time, so that it doesn't stick to the corners. Add the vanilla extract and blend until the mixture turns into a frozen yogurt consistency. Pour the mixture into serving dish.  (Makes 3 servings)

Optional: to enhance the flavor, you can add raisins, nuts, chocolate syrup, caramel or fresh fruits. The variety depends or your personal preference, but make sure not to overdo it because we don't want the calories to go high.
